3泊4日のワンルームアパートメント生活もあっという間に過ぎ、
アルバニアへ移動することとなった。
目的地は千の窓で名高いベラトという都市。
ここオフリドから直通のバスはないため、途中で乗り換えが必要となる。
まずオフリド市内からタクシー(200ディナール)でオフリドの隣の町Strugaへ向かう。
ローカルバスでそこまで行くこともできるが、そんなに高くなかったし
時間もよくわからなかったので僕らはタクシーを使った。
(ローカルバスだと恐らくバスターミナルまでは行かず、近くの道に降ろされることになる)
バスターミナルに着いたらタクシーの勧誘を無視して窓口で
エルバサン行きのチケットを購入する。
エルバサンまではティラナ行き9時30発のバスで行くことができる。
チケット代は660ディナール。
バスが50分程遅れたが、バスターミナルではwifiが使えるので暇つぶしには困らず。
トイレも無料なのでありがたい。
3 nights at apartment in Ohrid has past, and we are going to Albania.
Our next destination is Berat, the city known as “one thousand windows”.
There’s no direct bus from Ohrid to Berat so we need to take some buses.
At first we took taxi to Struga (200 denar).
We could take a bus but didn’t know what time the bus to come so we took taxi.
(I guess you’ll be dropped off on the road in Struga, not bus terminal)
At the bus station we bought a ticket to Elbasan
(ignoring taxi people offering high price)
To Elbasan there’s a bus at 9:30 a.m. The ticket is 660 denar.
Bus came late for 50 minutes but it was ok we could kill time by using wifi.
WC was also free for use.
発車後すぐ国境到着。
イミグレは自分の足で行く必要がなく、バスの中でパスポートが回収されるのみ。
まずマケドニア出国の際に回収され、出国したら一度返される。
そしてまたアルバニア入国の際に再度回収され、終わったら返されるといった次第だ。
だがここで一つ問題が。
いや、特に事件などに巻き込まれたりしなければ問題ないとも言えるのだが、
マケドニア出国、及びアルバニア入国の際に何故かスタンプが押されず。
マケドニア出国の時は最悪アルバニアの入国スタンプだけあれば平気かと思って
何も言わなかったが、さすがにアルバニア入国の時に押されてなかったのは
後々面倒だと思い、バスの車掌に申告してみる。
すると”oh〜smampa”(←スタンパって言ってた)とか言って再度回収し、その後
ちゃんと押してくれた(最初から押してくれ)。
EU圏内移動だとスタンプがなくても問題ないのだが、
さすがに東欧はまだスタンプがないのは不安だ。
変ないちゃもんつけられても困るからね。
地元民はスタンプ無しで行き来して問題ないようなので、
自分から言わないと普通にスルーされてしまうらしい。
運転手やその時と場合によりけりだが、念のため僕ら旅行者は申告して
もらっておいたほうがいいと思う。
Soon after bus left from the terminal, we got to the border.
We didn’t go through the immigration office by walk. An officer came into the bus and
collected our passports.
At first, they collect it when we’re about to leave Mcedonia,
then they give it back to us.
Same process is done at the border of Albania.
However we got in trouble at this momemt.
Actually it won’t be trouble unless we’ll be involved some problems, but they didn’t
gave us stamps for out/in.
I found it when we left Macedonia but I thought we would get it when we go into
Albania, but we couldn’t.
So we asked the staff and then they collect our passport again and finally
gave us a stamp (saying “Oh stampa~”.
If we were in EU it was no problem but it’s not EU but east Europe so we wanted it
just in case of some problems.
Local people don’t need stamp to go over the border so normally they don’t give
stamp to everyone unless they claim it (I guess).
I think we Japanese people should get it.
アルバニア入国後1時間半程でエルバサン到着。
バスターミナルではなく普通の道に降ろされるが、そこから歩いて5分程の
位置にバスターミナルがあった。
この時12時40分。丁度20分後発のベラト行きを発見したので、
お昼ご飯のサンドイッチを買ってそれに乗り込む。
チケット代は350レク(約350円)、チケット売り場はなく、バスの中で直接購入する形だ。
のどかな田舎道を3時間ほど走り、無事ベラト到着。
予め降りたい場所を言えばそこに下ろしてくれるので便利(バスのルート上であればだが)
ベラトの宿は大体２つの橋の周辺に固まってるので、
橋の近くに下ろしてもらうとわかりやすくて良いかと。
After 1 hour from the border we arrived in Elbasan.
We are dropped off at local road which was 5 minutes from bus terminal by walk.
We found a bus to Berat leaving in 20 minutes so we bought sandwiches for lunch
and got on it.
Ticket costs 350 lek. There’s no ticket office so we needed to buy it on the bus.
After 3 hours ride in countryside road and we arrived in Berat.
If you know where you want to get off, you should tell the driver so they drop you
off at the point. I think you should get off near the bridge because there’re many
cheap hotels around the bridge.
ということで、東欧のヤバい国アルバニアへとやってきました。
何がヤバいか、それはまたおいおい。
とりあえず国旗がヤバいとだけ言っておこう。かっこいいっちゃかっこいいけど、
このデザインはどーなのかね。
So we arrive in Albania, which was kinda crazy country in east Europe.
What is crazy is to be told later.
Well at this moment I say that the national flag of Albania is crazy.
