そうそう、ブダペストと言えば世界一美しいマクドナルドがあることでも有名だった。
ブダペスト西駅にあり、かつては駅の食堂だったらしい。
ちなみにブダペスト西駅はエッフェル塔を設計した人が設計したらしい。そりゃ美しいよな。
マクドナルドはもはやマクドナルドの内装とは思えず。
だけど出てくるものは当然ジャンクフード。当然、ね。
By the way there’s the most beautiful McDonald in the world in Budapest.
It’s in the Budapest Nyungati station and was a cafeteria for someone
working at the station.
Budapest Nyungati station was build by someone who built an Eiffel tower.
Well the interior decoration of McDonald was not what it is for McDonald.
But they serve a meal of McDonald, of course. Of course, well.
さて、この日はまずお隣の国スロバキアに入り、その日の夜行列車で
更に北の国ポーランドに移動する。
宿の近くの駅がブダペスト西駅(Nyungati)だったため、スロバキアの首都ブラスチラバまでの
直通列車はなく、一度Vacと言うところで乗り換えての移動となった。
チケットは5515フォリント(約2300円)。
3時間ほどでブラスチラバ到着。シェンゲン協定内の移動なので特に国境での審査は無し。
中途半端に余ったハンガリーのお金はVac駅内のパン屋で使い切る。
数十円ほどしかなかったのに使い切らせてくれたお姉さんに感謝。
On this day we were going to Poland via Slovakia by train.
We couldn’t find a direct train from Budapest Nyungati to Bratislava so
we needed to change a train at Vac. Ticket was 5515ft.
It took about 3 hours. No check at border.
We had a small Hungary money left but could use all of it at the bakery at Vac.
ブラチスラバに到着したら、駅のコインロッカーに荷物を預けて観光！
ではなく、観光地から離れた市街地にあるOLYMPUSのオフィスへ。
ハンガリーで壊れたカメラをもしかしたら直してもらえるのではと思い、
バスの路線図とにらめっこしてそっち方面のバスに乗って行ってみる。
街からどんどん離れるバスに乗り、郊外で降りて歩くこと20分。
遂に見つけたOLYMPUSの看板。
何となくそんな気はしたけど。。。
やってなかった。
We left our luggage in a coin locker and went sightseeing.
No, actually we went to the office of OLYMPUS to have them repair our
broken camera. We took a bus which seemed to go right direction.
Finally we found the office but it was closed. Well that’s what I thought.
ネットで調べた海外店舗の住所は量販店とかではなかったらしい
どーせ電車は夜発だし、暇なので中心地を歩いてみる。
が、ちょっとおしゃれな店が並ぶ通りがあるぐらいで特に見どころはない。
これで首都なのかってぐらい何もない・・・
チェコ・スロバキアとしてやっていった方が良かったんじゃなかろうか・・・
We needed to kill time so we went to the center and walked around
but there’s nothing to see. Is it really a capital??
Well they shouldn’t break up from Czech…
何もすることがないので、一度駅に戻ってクラクフ行のチケットを買うことに。
が、値段が思っていた以上にする。もともと調べていた限りでは18ユーロぐらいで、
しかもクラクフ直通のがあったはずなのだが、実際聞いてみると52.8ユーロで、
しかも深夜乗り換えがあるらしい・・・なんてこった。
予想外の事態に(チケット高すぎ！！)イラついたが、しょうがないので購入。
夜22:58発だったので、それまで駅から15分ぐらいのとこにあるマックで暇つぶし。
We went back to the station and bought a ticket to Krakow,
which costs 52.8 euro. We thought it’d be much cheaper but wouldn’t.
F/more we needed to change a train at midnight. No way!
But it couldn’t be helped so we bought it.
The train departs at 22:58 so we went to McDonald to kill time.
電車は時間通り出発。乗り換え駅はBohuminという駅で、予定時間は深夜02:03らしい。
乗り過ごすわけにはいかなかったので、自分は起きていることに。
02:14にBohumin到着。まさか次の電車が来るのが朝とかだったらどうしようなんて不安に
思っていたが、既に反対車線に電車は止まっていて、それに乗り込めばいいだけだった。
コンパートメントタイプで空いていたので、横になる。
とりあえず無事乗り換えが出来て一安心。
The train departed on time. We needed to change the train at Bohumin and
ETA was 02:03. We couldn’t miss it so I didn’t sleep.
It arrived at 02:14 and next train had already come so there’s no time loss.
I was so glad to get it.
03:45に出発し、チケットチェック以外は誰も来なかったので、後は爆睡。
06:40ぐらいにクラクフ到着。ヨーロッパで一番キツイ(めんどい)移動だった。
このルートは二度と使うことはないだろう。ハンガリーからポーランドに行きたいなら、
ブダペストから週何本かバスが出ているらしいので、そっちを使うことをお勧めする。
スロバキアは行ってもしょうがない。行くならチェコかオーストリアの方が絶対良い。
It departed at 03:45 and arrived at 06:40.
It was the hardest transportation in Europe. We never take this route.
If you wanna go to Poland from Hungary you should take a bus which leaves
2~3 times in a week.
Well I don’t think there’s something to visit in Slovakia.
