さて、ドブロブニクと言えばあのジブリの名作『魔女の宅急便』のモデル地として
聞いたことがあるという人が多いのではないかと。
青く輝くアドリア海、オレンジ色の屋根、石畳の道路。
確かにそれらはここに存在するし、美しい。
が、この街が果たしてキキの気に入った街かと言えば、自分はそんな印象は受けず。
まぁそりゃモデル地＝実際の街と全く一緒かと言われたらそうでないのかもしれないけど。
ただ聖蹟桜ヶ丘(耳をすませば)は結構似てるらしいね。そのうち行ってみようか。
Well I guess some of you might have heard that Dubrovnik is the place shown
in the film “Kiki’s delivery service”.
The blue Adriatic Sea, orange rooftops and stone paved road.
Yes, there’re here and it’s beautiful.
But I didn’t feel it was exactly where Kiki liked.
I know it shouldn’t be exactly same, but a little bit disappointing.
I’ve heard that Seisekisakuragaoka is very similar to the place in
“Mimiwosumaseba” Well I’ll visit there sometime.
ドブロブニクと言ったら、城壁に囲まれた旧市街だろう。
旧市街の中はおしゃれだし、城壁の外に出ればアドリア海と船との景観がとても素敵だ。
夏ならここで泳ぐことも出来る。
初めてここに来た時は本当に素敵な場所だと思った。思い描いていたようなヨーロッパの
街並みって感じだし、オシャレでかつ歴史を感じる街だからね。
ただ最近は旧市街と言うものに飽きてきたのか、あまり面白いとは思えず。
旧市街なんて言っちゃえばどこ行っても同じようなつくりだからね。
ヨーロッパだったら、石畳の道、オレンジ色の街灯、石造りの建物にウィンドウショッピング
が楽しいオシャレな店、そして高そうなレストランが並ぶだけだし。
歩いているだけで楽しいは楽しいんだけど、結局どこも同じなんだよなぁ。
Many people visit the old city of Dubrovnik surrounded by wall.
It’s stylish and fashioned, and you can also see a great view out of the wall.
In summer you can even swim.
When I first visited here I felt it really neat. It was what I imagined as Europe.
However I didn’t feel it at that time.
I felt that old city is same everywhere. In Europe there’re stone paved road,
orange colored light, stylish shops and expensive restaurants, which don’t
hit my mind a lot.
I still enjoyed walking around, but I can’t stop feeling it as same.
ケーブルカー、もしくは歩いて登れる丘の上からの風景は、コトルを見てなかったら
もっと素敵に見えたのかもしれない。
形こそ違うものの、城壁に囲まれた街って意味では同じだからね。
あ、でもそれ見ながらウクレレ弾いたり音楽聞いたり歌ったりするのは楽しかったな。
アドリア海からの風を受け・・・なんて、素敵すぎた。
ちなみにここドブロブニクは、1991年からのユーゴスラビア崩壊に伴い、
セルビア・モンテネグロから攻撃を受けているんだよね。
実はその時ここにあるケーブルカーも壊されたみたいで、近くに当時の様子がわかる絵とか
あったよ。1991年って、そんな昔じゃないよね。
I would feel it more beautiful if I didn’t visit Kotor.
It’s not exactly same but it’s same in the meaning of a city surrounded by wall.
But I enjoyed playing Ukulele and listening to music with seeing the view.
I felt a wind from Adriatic Sea…That’s wonderful.
Dubrovnik was attacked by Serbia-Montenegro after Yugoslavia started to
break up in 1991.
At that time the cable car got broken. There’re some pictures showing it.
1991 is not so long time ago, I feel.
夜の旧市街は行ってないけど、丘の上から見る夜のドブロブニクの街は綺麗だった。
あと素敵だったのは、アドリア海の夕焼け！
宿から旧市街に行く道に展望スポットがあって、そこから見る夕日が素敵だった。
ちなみにここで弾くウクレレも最高だったよ。
We didn’t visit the old city at night but it was beautiful to see it from the hill.
Also the sunset in Adriatic sea was awesome!
There’s a good spot between our accommodation and the old city and the
sunset from there was beautiful.
To playing ukulele was also wonderful.
ドブロブニクではその街並みより夕日とウクレレを楽しんだのでした。
We enjoyed not the old city but the sunset and playing ukulele.
