イタリアはバス路線があまり発達していないみたいなので、都市間の移動は全部鉄道で。
今回はTrenitaliaの所謂鈍行列車に乗ってローマへ移動。
チケットは20.95ユーロ。所要時間は約3時間40分。
イタリアの電車に乗る際は、必ず乗車前にチケットに打刻しないといけないので注意。
ホームの階段近くに打刻マシーンがあるので、そこにチケットを入れてジジッと音がすればOK
We can easily move to another city by train rather than bus in Italy.
We got ticket at Trenitalia this time. Now let’s go to Rome.
Ticket was 20.95 euro. It took about 3 hours and 40 minutes to Roma.
When you take a train in Italy, do not forget to punch your ticket.
You can find the machine near the stairs.
ローマと言えば、恐らく多くの人がイタリアと聞いて思い浮かべるものが揃っている場所だ。
見どころは比較的コンパクトにまとまっているので、僕らは全部歩いて周ることに。
(地下鉄もあるし、使った方が全然楽なのは間違いないが)
There’s everything what you imagine for Italy in Rome.
We visit every sightseeing spots by walk. (It’s easier by metro, of course)
まず向かったのはコロッセオ。ローマ帝政期に作られた円形闘技場だ。
テレビでも本でも、漫画でも見たことのあるこの場所。
闘技場で活躍して王の目に留まって騎士団へ入隊、なんてサクセスストーリー本当に当時
あったのかな。なんて想像してみる。
訪れたのが日曜日だったため、入場口には長蛇の列！
並ぶのが嫌いな僕らは外から見るだけで満足。
At first we visited Colosseum, the amphitheater which was
built in Rome empire. I had seen it in TV, book and even in comic.
I wondered if it was true story that people who won the game there
would enter the military.
There was a long line for the entrance because it was on Sunday so
we didn’t get in the Colosseum.

近くにあった巨大な門
お次に向かったのは、コロッセオから歩いて15分ぐらいのところにあるあの口。
たまに日本でも見かけるよね？あれなんだろ、占いかなんかだっけ？
ひげもじゃおっさんの口の中に手を入れてってやつ・・・
そう、真実の口！
教会の外にあるこの場所にも人がたくさん。
ちゃんと管理人がいて、写真は1グループ1枚までと決められているぐらい。
そんなもんだから、噛まれないかな～なんてドキドキしながら手を入れるということは
出来ず、順番が来たらサクッと写真撮ってもらってハイ終了！次の方～みたいな感じだった。
まぁしょうがない。とりあえず写真は撮ったからいっか。
At second we visited the mouse which is 15 minutes walk from the Colosseum.
I guess you have seen it in Japan too. Well I wonder what it was for.
You know you put your hand in the mouse of the man with a heavy mustache…
Yes that’s the Mouse of Truth!
There’re also many people at this place.
We could only take 1 picture for 1 group and were watched
by an administrator.
So we couldn’t enjoy putting our hand in the mouse wondering if we’d be
bitten, but only took a picture and that’s it. Next~
Well it was OK. At least we could take a picture.
道はハッキリとわからなくても、大体の人の流れに乗れば自然と見どころに
行けてしまう街ローマ。次の目的地へ向かう途中にも、恐らく有名であろうスポットが
ちらほら(ガイドブックを持っていないのでよくわからず)
毎度のことながら、美術館系は全てスルー。外から建物見るだけで満足。
Even though we didn’t know the way we could reach by following others.
I think we went through many sightseeing spot on the way but we didn’t know.
(because we didn’t have a guidebook.)
As usual we didn’t visit museums. It was enough to see it from outside.
そんでもってたどり着いたのがここ。後ろ向きにコインを投げると願いが叶うと
言われていて、11月に修復が終わったばかりのこの場所。
そう、トレビの泉にやってきた。
沢山の人が泉をバックに写真撮影をしている。
僕らもなんとか空いたスペースを見つけ、コイン投げて写真撮影。観光満喫しまくってるな。
Trevi Fountain, we arrived.
Many people are taking their photo with the fountain behind them.
We also did it with throwing coins. Well we were enjoying as tourist.
1日3000ユーロものコインが投げられるとかなんとか。
とりあえずこれで自分の中のローマ3大観光地は周ったことになる。
が、まだローマは終わっていない。
長くなりそうなので、残りは次の記事にて。
