ローマからナポリへ移動。
今回もTrenitaliaの方で、片道約3時間、11.8ユーロ。
今までもちょこちょこと見かけていたが、ナポリに入って一気にアフリカ人が増えた。
イタリアでも大分南の方だし、出稼ぎに来る人が多いのだろう。
それと同時に、町がものすごく汚くなった。ナポリは治安が悪いと言われているが、
どことなくそんな雰囲気を感じさせる(宿の人は全く問題ないって言ってたけど)
We headed to Napoli from Rome.
We took train of Trenitalia. It tool us about 3 hours and ticket was 11.8 euro.
We’ve seen some but in Napoli there’re a lots of African people.
I guess they came to earn money.
At the same time the city got more dirty. I heard that Napoli is a little
dangerous and I felt it (though the staff of hostel said it’s no problem)

ナポリでは特に観光はせず。
卵城なる城を外から見に行ったのと、一応イルミネーションと言われた場所を
見に行ったぐらい。この街に来たのは観光目的ではないからね。
We didn’t do sightseeing in Napoli.
We only went to see the Egg Castle and the place where had them illuminated.
Well sightseeing wasn’t the purpose to visit here.

ナポリに来た目的は、そう、食を楽しむこと。
特にピザが安く、それもでっかい奴を食べられると聞いてたので、それを楽しみに来たのだ。
と言うことで、まずはナポリのピザで一番有名そうなところへ。
調べてみると、どうやらda michereと言うピッツェリアが有名らしい。
そしてなんとここ、あの映画「食べて、祈って、恋をして」にも出てくるらしい。
Our purpose was to enjoy the meal here.
We heard that especially pizza was cheap and huge so we wanted to eat it.
So we went to the pizzeria “da michere” where was used in the film
“Eat, Pray and Love”
やはり人気店なのか、夜に訪れたら人が結構入ってる。
マルゲリータとマリナーラの2種類しかないので、それぞれノーマルサイズを1つずつ注文。
そして出てきたのが、直径40cm程の大きさのピザ！！これで1枚4ユーロ！
As it probably be one of popular pizzeria there’re many people.
They only had 2 kinds of pizza, Margherita and Marinara so we ordered
one for each.
Then what we got was one which size was about 40cm. It’s only 4 euro!

そして肝心のお味は・・・

あれ・・・こんなもん・・・？
最初の一口目はその雰囲気で美味しいと思ってしまったが、よくよく食べ続けると
焦げの味が強いしトマトソースはしょっぱいし生地はマズいしで・・・
総評、まずい。
ジュリアロバーツは笑顔で食べていたが、きっと実は美味しくなかったに違いない・・・
スタッフの愛想もあまり良くなくて、有名店だからと驕ってしまった感じがする店だった。
ので、ここは行くなら一度だけでいいと思うし、期待はしない方が良いと思う。
Oh…well…
First bite was good but after that I couldn’t feel it good.
Burnt taste strong and it wasn’t good, tomato sauce was too salty and the
dough wasn’t even better…
Conclusion, bad.
I saw Julia Roberts ate it smiling but I doubt it wasn’t tasty.
Staff wasn’t behave well so you don’t need to visit this pizzeria many times.
さすがにこのマズいピザでイタリア旅を終えるわけにはいかない！
そう思って見つけた次の店、外に人が並んでいるし、なんと日本人の方がここで働いている。
その方もここは美味しいとお勧めしてくれたので、その店に決めてみる。
da michereとの比較のためにマルゲリータを一枚と、揚げピザなるものを注文。
値段はほぼ同じ。
We couldn’t finish our travel in Italy with that bad pizza!
So we found another pizzeria where many people were in line at outside
and even a Japanese worked there.
He told us that this pizzeria was good so we decide to eat there.
We ordered a Marguerita pizza to compare with the one of da michere and
also had one called “Pizza Fritta”.
The price was about same.
まずはマルゲリータから。サイズは同じぐらいだが、バジルの量が多い。
味はと言うと、こっちはちゃんと美味しかった。
ソースもしょっぱすぎないし、焦げた味もしないし生地も美味しい。
(ちなみにイタリアのピザ生地は総じて薄い)
これぞイタリアピザ！さすが本場！
Let’s begin with Marguerita. Size was about same but basil was more.
This was tasty. I could say that was the pizza of Italy!
そして気になる揚げピザ。
見た目はなんと形容したら良いのかわからないが、とりあえず揚げ物だということは
見て取れる(←当たり前)。もちろん熱々。
Then pizza fritta.
I cannot say how it looks but I can see it something fried. It’s hot.
中を開けてみるとこんな感じ(肉入りをオーダー)
味はメッチャ美味しかった。チーズと挽肉がイイ感じ。
多分見た目から想像できる味だと思う。なんと言えば良いかわからないが(表現力の無さ・・)
写真からはわかりにくいが、サイズはマルゲリータと同じぐらいあり、かつ揚げ物なので
1枚食べ切るのも結構大変だ。最後の方は胃もたれしそうになったぐらい。
だけど美味しいし、これは是非一度は食べてみた方が良いと思う。日本にもあるのかな？
It was very good. Cheese and meat was really tasty.
I think you can imagine how it taste from its look. Sorry I can’t explain…
It’s hard to see from the picture but the size was about same as Marguerita.
As it’s fried it made us full, even more.
You should try once! I wonder if we can eat it in Japan.
もちろんピザは美味しいんだけど、二回続けて食べるには重すぎる。
と言うことで、ちゃんとパスタも食べたよ。こちらも安い店では5ユーロ前後で食べられる。
ナポリは物価が安くて助かる。それでいてちゃんと美味しいものを食べられるんだからね。
We also ate pasta. It’s cheap but good.
In Napoli we can eat cheap but good, that’s awesome.
今回のイタリア旅ではピザとパスタばっかり食べたけど、もちろんイタリア料理は
それだけじゃない、まだまだ美味しいものがたくさんあるはず。
とりあえず今回はこれで満足だけど、ぜひぜひまた美味しいものを食べに訪れたい。
今度はイタリアだけで、更に南部まで行ってみたいと思う。
いやー楽しかった、美味しかった！
We only ate pizza and pasta but there’re more Italian food.
At this time it’s good enough but we will visit again for more good meals.
Next time I wanna visit more southern places.
